Li Songhua

I like to look at my work as a vessel that can influence the fast-changing society that we are living in China. My work beholds, and at the same time adjusts, my personal reaction to these immense changes: outrageous happiness, confusion, observation, remembrance, contemplation and psychological walkabouts.

By making art, I can reach a balance in my life, and fulfill my individual duty towards this Chinese society. As for the other things that I can’t express in words, there’s at least my work that captures my thoughts and will always be a witness of my existence.
